It's been over 10 years since La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant opened their doors in the former home of the famous Moon Hut Restaurant, just south of The Lamp Post Lounge on the ocean side of A-1-A in Cape Canaveral. Partner and General Manager Alice Fusillo along with her high quality Mexican food and dedicated staff have made La Fiesta the most popular and busiest Mexican Eatery on the beach. It's certainly 'the place' to go for Mexican food in Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach. Everything is 'made to order' using only the finest and freshest ingredients available. The wait staff is very friendly and efficient and kitchen crew gets the expertly prepared food out fast!

Lunch is served from opening until 3 pm Monday through Friday and offers eleven luncheon specials that are modestly priced. You'll find burritos, chile rellenos, enchiladas, tacos, tamales, a chimichanga and luncheon sized fajitas. Taco salads are offered with choice of chicken, ground beef or shredded beef. Also a chicken fajita salad, an avocado salad, a fajita sandwich and three egg dishes including Huevos Rancheros.

If you missed lunchtime, you can enjoy anyone of Eight Early Bird Specials served from 3 to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday and from noon until 5:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday. You can choose from Enchilada, Burrito, Chile Relleno, Two Tacos, Chimichanga, Pork Burrito, Enchilada & Taco and Tamale & Enchilada. All arrive with rice and beans.

Dinner is where La Fiesta really shines. Their Dinner menu brings on a baker's dozen of modestly priced appetizers including Guacamole or Bean dip, Nachos or Super Nachos, Flautas, Cheese Crispi, three varieties of Quesadillas, Mexican Pizza, Queso Fundido, Azteca soup or The Fiesta Platter, a combination of nachos, quesadilla and Mexican taquitos served with guacamole, sour cream and tomatoes (Certainly my favorite). Four dinner sized salads; taco, chicken fajita, avocado and house salad are also available.

Under the Burritos & Etc. List you'll find a variety of single filling Burritos listed as well as a Super Burrito, a Super Chimichanga and a Super Taco . Under the Enchiladas List, you'll be able to choose from a half dozen variations. In addition, there are fifteen combination dinners including many popular Mexican combinations, as well as a Fiesta Special where you can build your own combination plate. Still a favorite at La Fiesta are their Sizzling Fajita Platters. Their Vegetarian platter, their Shrimp platter and their Combo Steak & Chicken platter. Their Fajitas for Two with steak, chicken or combo is also available.

The 'Carnes' (Meat Dishes) offer six steak options and three pork option. The 'Pollo' (Chicken Dishes) offer seven selections. The 'Mariscos' (Seafood Dishes) offer ten fish or shrimp choices. If you can't find something on this large menu to tickle your fancy, then order a hamburger, cheeseburger or a New York Strip, they have those too, as well as Great Mexican Desserts and a five item Children's menu.

Remember La Fiesta's Mariachi Band performs on the 1st Tuesday of each month.. La Fiesta serves 'The Best of Mexico' seven days a week. If you're not already a regular, stop by for lunch or dinner and you'll become a regular too! La Fiesta can be found at 7802 N. Atlantic Avenue (A-1-A) in Cape Canaveral.
